Getting my bike into neutral
Hello. I recently had my H.D. 2018 Heritage Softail Classic bike serviced at All American H.D. I had difficulty getting my bike into neutral. I paid a service charge to have a technician look at the bike and adjust the clutch. Needless to say, I am still having difficulty getting my bike into neutral; it's a hit or miss situation--sometimes I'm able to get it into neutral and sometimes not. To me, this is extremely frustrating. A $20K bike that I have trouble getting it into neutral. I've owned two bikes in my past, a Honda and Kawasaki, and not once did I have problems getting these bikes into neutral. This is frustrating for me when I'm sitting at a stop light and I can't rest my left hand because I can't get the bike into neutral. I'm certainly not pointing the finger at you all. I'm just frustrated with this H.D. that I bought new last year. I've been told several different reasons by different H.D. dealerships: You have to break it in; We've had problems with the new Softails with this issue; This is 'normal' for a Harley to act this way, etc. Not what I really want to hear. Ken,
Sorry to hear you are frustrated with your Heritage. I've let the Service Manager and Director of Ops know you are not having a 5-star experience with your Harley. They will be in touch with you directly to see if we can help further diagnose the issue.

Thank you,
